    Hello Enzio
You could check F5 ads on the Swiss meta-search site trademachines.ch, or, kindly inquire at the usual suspects for this in Switzerland like:
    roesli-maschinen.ch
    haessig-maschinen.ch
    or
    luthymac.ch
The last three are known to have 'some' 'private' lists.
    Best,
    Stefan
BTW: were did you then find that number on your machine when there is no sign (photo would help clarify this)?

    Hi Stefan,
Alright that´s good, i´ll start there.
The serial number, or at least what I guess that it is, is stamped on top of the Z-axis column.
Sorry But I don´t have a picture on this computer.

My F5 has serial no. 32919. I think it is a late 1960s machine. My F4 has serial no. 45087. I think it is a late 1970s machine.

I quess you don´t have a machine label either It seems to be missing on quite a few Acieras that I have seen, I just don´t understand why people rip these of.
So my machine might be a early 1980s. I´ll keep looking and comparing some machines, It would be interesting know.
I haven´t seen any indication on casting parts that would indicate a manufacturing year. Strange..

All my other machines from different brands have manufacturing labels with a lot of information among the manufacturing year, So maybe Aciera just didn´t do that.

IF these Aciera numbers are serial for all items made by Aciera:
    an F3 42079 is dated 26-Feb-1974
    an F3 44935 is dated 26-Jun-1975
with the dates wrtten on the delivery control cards in the manual
Exptrapolating for 46471 gives about Mar 1976.
But a very late F3 does have year (and more info) on label plate (eg 54675 is an F3 marked with 'Année/Baujahr 1983')
    cheers, Charles

Based on those F3 dates it is very likely that my machine is about March 1976, cool to know.
Now i have a picture of the placement of the serial number, as I mentioned on top of the Z-axis column.

The F3 has the same coolant pump as I do, the Siemens 2AB1 and those F3:s came 1985 if I understand the list correct. If the same applies to the F5 that they changed to Siemens pumps during that time so my F5 might be from that time too.

What is an IMEI Number?

IMEI is the abbreviation for International Mobile Equipment Identity which you can have access by *06# from the Dial Pad. This number, unlike serial number, is a standard format. It proves to be useful when you wish to connect your device to any mobile network.

IMEI provides you with manufacturer details like date of manufacturing the country of origin. The GSM Network Providers use your IMEI number. You can use this number if you wish to block the F5 when it is stolen or lost.

IMEI is obligatory for Mobile F5 Network without which your F5 is equal to invalid. Some users also use IMEI as their serial number since IMEI is the only unique number which no other F5 than yours can have exactly one.

What is a Serial Number?

A Serial Number is a number that allows a company to identify a product and get additional information about it so that you can find the compatible parts for it. Some F5s do not have any serial number but do have an IMEI Number. In some cases, the serial number may be the same for other manufacturer devices.

How to Find IMEI Number on Oppo F5?

Now that you are aware of what an IMEI number actually means, let us see how you can find it on your device. Given below are a few methods through which you can find the IMEI number on your device.

Method 1: How to find IMEI Number on Oppo F5 with the help of battery (If a device has a removable battery).

Your Android contains the IMEI Number embedded on its battery. Okay! That was an exaggeration. Not exactly embedded, but if you have a removable battery then you will surely find the IMEI number of your device on it. Usually, you will find this number beneath the battery.

Step 1. Firstly, switch your Oppo F5 off. Although you can simply take away the battery and save your time in switching the F5 off, this sudden action may cause data loss or even the apps may corrupt when the power source is removed all of a sudden.

Step 2. Now take away the back cover of your F5 along with the battery.

Step 3. You will come across a sticker sort of white label attached to it on the back side of the battery. There is where you will find the IMEI number of your device.

Method 2: How to Find IMEI Number on Oppo F5 through the F5 Settings.

I found this method to be most reliable for a mass. You can also try the above time-saving methods, however, not all devices come with a removable battery so this could be your next option. The only obligation this IMEI number has is to have a working mode of your F5.

So for such people, it is easy to rely on this method. However, if you do not have the device packaging box, you should then try the other two methods.

Step 1. You can check for the barcode and find the IMEI number on the packaging. You can find these two on the label generally present at the back side or any of the sides of the box.
