I then shut down the computer and noticed that it was downloading about 75. (My OS is Vista x64 SP2, but I think XP and Win7 can also follow the same solution). Enter netsh environment. Type 'netsh' and ENTER. 'int teredo' and ENTER. I would suggest you to un-install the Microsoft ISATAP Adapter driver form. Download the latest Microsoft ISATAP Adapter driver for your computer's operating system. All downloads available on this website have been scanned by the latest anti-virus software and are guaranteed to be virus and malware-free.
Microsoft ISATAP adapter wont stay deleted
Update:
We are receiving Event ID: 4202 on most of our Windows Server 2012 R2 servers. These are VM's hosted on Vsphere Version 6.7.0.20000 Build 10244845. (Error below)
(Unable to update the IP address on Isatap interface isatap.{002E7923-BF1E-4C02-B2C9-11BA84FDAB83}. Update Type: 1. Error Code: 0x490.)
I have been trying to disable/uninstall the ISATAP adapter as we do not use IPv6. In testing with a non-critical 2012 server, I have disabled and rebooted and uninstalled and rebooted. After both tests, the adapter is enabled/reinstalled.
In viewing the Events for this specific adapter, 3 events occur on reboot.
Device SWDIP_TUNNEL_VBUSISATAP_0 was deleted.

I am now trying to find what is causing this to be reinstalled on reboot and disable it. Looking for recommendations.

So I have been troubleshooting an error involving the ISATAP adapter and the machine not being able to assign an IP to it. That adapater isn't used to its easy enough to delete/disable it.
Windows Isatap Adapter
The problem I am running into is that on seemingly random (cant find a pattern) reboots, the adapter reenabling or reinstalling itself resulting in the event errors coming back.
Anyone seen anything like this before or have any recommendations?

I have just had to restore my laptop computer from scratch. I am using Windows 7. I checked the Device Manager and checked that there were no problems and no yellow !s. All clear. I then shut down the computer and noticed that it was downloading about 75 updates. I then re-booted the computer the next day and, because of the updates, I checked Device Manager again and found the following problems:
Under Network Adapters it showed a yellow ! against the following:

Teredo tunneling pseudo-interface
I then followed the following advice found on the web:
Hey everyone, I had the same code 10 problem with Teredo Tunnel Pseudo-Interface when I connected my laptop with a public library router. Fortunately I found this solution which really worked it out! (My OS is Vista x64 SP2, but I think XP and Win7 can also follow the same solution)
Solution:
1. Open command prompt with administrator credentials (Find CMD and right-click - Run as Administrator).
2. Enter netsh environment. Type 'netsh' and ENTER.
3. 'int teredo' and ENTER
4. 'set state disabled' and ENTER.
5. Open Device Manager and uninstall 'Teredo Tunneling Pseudo-Interface'.
6. Open command prompt with administrator credentials once again.
7. netsh + ENTER.
8. 'int ipv6' + ENTER
9. 'set teredo client' + ENTER
10. Open Device Manager and Scan for new hardware.
11. Select 'Show hidden devices' from the View menu. You will now see that it is present without errors with any luck.
