You won't have to wait as long to see Marvel Studios' Avengers: Infinity War in theaters in North America.
Marvel announced on Twitter the third Avengers film will now be released on April 27 as opposed to its original planned May 4 release date. Marvel Studios made the announcement via a Twitter exchange with Iron Man star Robert Downey, Jr and a new poster highlighting the date.

Marvel Studios first tweeted out about the film debuting on May 4, when Downey, Jr. chimed in asking to see it earlier. Marvel Studios accommodated him — and the many fans hoping to see the film as soon as possible. Of course, this was naturally a planned announcement transformed into a clever marketing stunt that used one of the stars of the MCU as a voice for the people wanting to watch Infinity War early.
This lines the North American release of the film up with its planned international debut. That new release date is a week after the Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson-starring Rampage adaptation. It also further separates Infinity War's release from other big May tentpole films, which include Deadpool 2 and Solo: A Star Wars Story.
